About Me
About Me
I could say my love of travel started in the fifth grade, but really, it wasn’t just travel—it was the love of stepping into a local way of life, even if I had no idea what I was doing.
That year, my family spent spring break in England and Scotland. We saw plenty of the big tourist sights (I’m sure they were great, but honestly, I don’t remember most of them). What I do remember? Getting ushered to the back of a pub for reasons that remain a mystery to this day. Riding the subway all the way to the end of the line in London—another place that was definitely not for children. And best of all, staying at a cozy bed and breakfast in Berwick-upon-Tweed, where the owners’ kids took my brother and me into town. We snuck in the back door of a restaurant, got fish and chips, and ran around with local kids like we belonged there. That’s the kind of experience that sticks with you.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve made travel my career. Being a travel advisor lets me combine two of my favorite things: travel and organization. (Seriously, I love a good list.) I’m sure I drive my husband a little crazy with my color-coded spreadsheets, but when it comes to planning incredible trips, that attention to detail pays off.
So, whether you’re dreaming of a river cruise, a scenic train journey, or a culture-packed getaway, I’m here to help you experience the world—not just as a tourist, but as a traveler who truly connects with a place.
At DMG Travel Escapes, I believe travel should be more than just checking destinations off a list—it should be an experience. The kind that immerses you in the culture, scenery, and spirit of a place. The kind that leaves you with stories you’ll be telling for years.
I specialize in river cruises, scenic rail vacations, small-ship cruising, and immersive cultural travel—the kinds of trips where you’re not just passing through but truly connecting with the destination. Whether it’s sipping wine along the Douro, watching the Northern Lights from a cozy expedition ship, or rolling through the Alps by rail, I help travelers find journeys that are as enriching as they are seamless.
And let’s be honest—planning a trip can be overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I take care of the details so you can focus on the adventure. Want a perfectly curated itinerary? Done. Prefer some flexibility to explore on your own? I can make that happen too. From choosing the right cruise or rail journey to handling logistics, I tailor every trip to fit you.
Sure, you could spend hours scrolling through travel sites, second-guessing reviews, and trying to piece everything together yourself. But why stress over the details when I can match you with the perfect trip, handle all the logistics, and be there if anything unexpected comes up?
So, where to next? Let’s start planning your next great escape!
